Tag Glossary & Methodology
Builds are organized into a profession × slot matrix: 9 professions, 9 slots each (Small Scale 1–3, Large Scale 1–3, Niche 1–3). Each build is tagged across four orthogonal dimensions so the same build can be discovered through multiple search paths.
Slots
The matrix asks: "if I had only 3 builds for small/large scale or 3 niche specs, what would they be?" Slots 1 are core picks; slots 3 lean experimental. The three Niche slots per profession are always reserved for an assassin, a bomb, and an organized-play build.
Tier
S/A/B/C/D rates the build within its profession and slot context (small scale, large scale, or niche) — not across the whole game. So an S in one class's small-scale row is the best small-scale pick that profession has, not necessarily stronger than an A from another class. S is meta-defining, A is strong, B is functional, C is fringe, D is for documentation only.
Damage Type
Power, Hybrid, Condition, or Support (utility builds with no offensive pressure).
Range Type
Melee, Midrange, or Ranged — engagement distance, not weapon range.
